Job Description

In this role, you will go far beyond basic "chatting" with AI. You will design the foundational System Prompts that give each of our agents (Broker, Lender, Syndicator) their specific expertise. You will be the primary expert in utilizing Claude’s massive context window to process hundreds of pages of legal and financial documents at once. You will work at the intersection of linguistics and engineering, implementing advanced techniques like Few-Shot Prompting, Chain-of-Thought (CoT), and XML-based data structuring to ensure Claude’s outputs are perfectly formatted for our developers to use. You will also be responsible for "Prompt Version Control," ensuring that as Anthropic updates its models (e.g., from Claude 3.5 to Claude 4), our Real Estate logic remains stable and superior to the competition.

Key Responsibilities:

Reduction of hallucinations in listing data, token optimization, and personality tuning for different agent types (Broker vs. Lender).

  • Agent Persona Development: Creating and fine-tuning the "instructions" that govern how the AI behaves (e.g., making the Lender Agent cautious and the Sales Agent persuasive but honest).

  • Context Window Optimization: Designing prompts that efficiently use Claude’s 200k+ context window to analyze entire portfolios of property listings without losing focus.

  • Output Structuring: Ensuring Claude always responds in predictable formats (like JSON or XML) so the Fullstack Developer can render that data into UI components like tables or maps.

  • Hallucination Mitigation: Implementing rigorous "Grounding" techniques within prompts to force the AI to cite specific property data and avoid making up financial figures.

  • Prompt Red-Teaming: Identifying where the AI might be "tricked" into giving bad real estate advice and building defensive layers into the system prompt.

Key Activities:

A/B testing of prompts, implementing Chain-of-Thought techniques, and monitoring model performance.

  • Prompt Iteration & Benchmarking: Writing, testing, and scoring dozens of variations of a prompt to find the one that produces the most accurate ROI calculation for an investor.
XML Schema Design: Using Claude-specific XML tags (e.g., <listing_data>, <financial_analysis>) to organize the information the AI receives and provides.
Collaborative Logic Mapping: Working with the Financial AI Analyst to turn a complex "Waterfall Distribution" formula into a step-by-step reasoning prompt the AI can follow.
Performance Monitoring: Analyzing "failed" AI interactions to determine if the prompt or the data was at fault, then optimizing the instructions accordingly.
Knowledge Base Curation: Selecting the "Best Examples" (Few-Shot samples) of real estate contracts and listings to show the AI exactly how we want it to write.

Academic Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Linguistics, Computer Science, Philosophy (Logic focus), or Computational Linguistics.

  • Prompt Engineering Certification: Proven portfolio or certifications specifically in LLM optimization and prompt design.

  • AI Specialization: Deep understanding of the Transformer architecture and the specific "Constitutional AI" approach used by Anthropic.

  • Data Literacy: Ability to understand JSON, XML, and basic Python to test how prompts interact with software backends.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Python, Anthropic Claude API, Advanced Prompt Engineering.

  • Mastery of Natural Language: An exceptional ability to write clear, unambiguous, and highly structured instructions in English (and Spanish, depending on the market).

  • Technical Logic: A deep understanding of "Chain-of-Thought" prompting—forcing the AI to "think step-by-step" before providing a final financial answer.

  • Anthropic Specialist: Specific knowledge of Claude’s "System Prompt" vs "User Prompt" architecture and its unique handling of long-form text.

  • Analytical Curiosity: The patience to test a prompt 100 times just to change a single word that improves accuracy by 5%.

  • Cross-Functional Communication: The ability to explain to the UX Designer how a prompt's structure will affect the speed and style of the user interface.

Work Experience:

3+ years in NLP or LLM interaction.

Daily Job Schedule:

The daily job schedule will follow the standard working hours of the company, typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, occasional flexibility may be required to meet project deadlines or collaborate with remote team members.
